Agartala, June 18: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the 16-member student team from Tripura who showcased an outstanding performance at the National Yoga Olympiad 2025, held in Kanyakumari from June 15 to 18.
Among 33 participating teams from across the country, Miss Anwesha Deb brought laurels to the state by securing the Gold Medal in the Individual Girls category. Additionally, the Secondary Boys group won Bronze, while the Middle Girls group achieved a commendable 4th place finish.
The team was guided and mentored by Sri Joydeb Majumder and Smt Soma Das, under the selection and support of SCERT Tripura.
CM Saha described it as a “proud moment for Tripura” and praised the students’ discipline, commitment, and role in promoting the values of yoga on a national platform.
