Agartala, June 24: The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has invited online applications from eligible Indian citizens for a range of Group-B and Group-C posts through the Tripura Combined Competitive Examination, 2025. The application window is open from June 24 to July 18, 2025, up to 5:30 PM.
The recruitment drive includes both permanent and temporary posts across departments such as Education (Social Welfare & Social Education) and Finance. All applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university and possess a Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC).
Vacant Posts and Pay Scales
Supervisor (ICDS), Group-C (Non-Gazetted) under the Education (Social Welfare & Social Education) Department No. of Posts: 14 (UR-09, SC-02, ST-03; 5 reserved for PwD) Pay Scale: ₹5,700 – ₹24,000; Grade Pay ₹2,800 (Level-9) Inspector of Small Savings, Group-C (Non-Gazetted) under the Finance Department No. of Posts: 02 (UR-01, SC-01) Pay Scale: ₹5,700 – ₹24,000; Grade Pay ₹4,200 (Level-10) Superintendent of Taxes, Group-B (Gazetted) under the Taxes Organization, Finance Department No. of Posts: 03 (UR-01, ST-02) Pay Scale: ₹10,230 – ₹34,800; Grade Pay ₹4,600 (Level-12)
TPSC has clarified that the number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on departmental requisitions received up to December 20, 2025.
Eligibility and Age Criteria
Applicants must be Indian citizens and permanent residents of Tripura. The upper age limit is 40 years as of July 18, 2025, with a relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/PwD candidates and government employees. However, ST/SC/PwD government servants are not eligible for double relaxation.
Candidates applying for the Superintendent of Taxes post will receive preference if they hold a Commerce degree with Advanced Accountancy and Auditing, or a degree in Economics or Statistics. Desirable qualifications such as knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok and relevant work experience will be considered for all applicable posts.
Examination Process
The selection will be based on a three-stage process:
Preliminary Examination – A 100-mark multiple-choice test on General Studies and Arithmetic, tentatively scheduled for December 21, 2025. This is a qualifying stage. Main Examination – Two conventional papers (English and General Studies & Arithmetic), 100 marks each. Personality Test – 20 marks, assessing leadership, judgment, current affairs awareness, and moral integrity.
Only candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks in the Preliminary stage (35% for UR, 30% for reserved categories) will be eligible to appear for the Main Examination. Final merit will be determined on the basis of Main Examination and Personality Test scores.
Application and Fees
Applications must be submitted online through https://tpsc.tripura.gov.in. New users must first complete a One-Time Profile Registration (OTPR).
Application fees are as follows:
Group-B (Gazetted): ₹350 for General; ₹250 for SC/ST/PwD/BPL Group-C (Non-Gazetted): ₹200 for General; ₹150 for SC/ST/PwD/BPL
If applying for both categories, candidates must pay the fee applicable to the higher post. The fees are non-refundable.
Examination Centres
The Preliminary Examination will be conducted in six locations across the state:

Candidates must choose one centre at the time of application. The Commission reserves the right to reassign centres if necessary.
