Imphal, March 11, 2026: The management of Manipur Creative School in Imphal has strongly condemned the spread of false narratives and misleading information circulating on social media regarding an alleged kidnapping incident connected with the school.
According to an official press communiqué issued by the school, the incident occurred on March 11, 2026, at around 08:39 AM near Hatta Ittakhola when Mrs. Begum Farigiana, an Assistant Teacher (Computer Subject) and Female Warden of the school, was accompanying students from the Hatta MCS Hostel to the Dewlahland Campus.
During the journey, she was reportedly kidnapped by unidentified individuals who arrived in a Hyundai i20 car with a concealed registration number, the statement said.
The school authorities have officially reported the matter to the police and submitted a formal complaint requesting registration of an FIR to the Officer-in-Charge of Porompat Police Station, Imphal East. The administration has also provided supporting evidence, including CCTV footage, to assist the ongoing investigation.
The management stated that the school will fully cooperate with the family and law enforcement authorities and remains committed to ensuring the safety and security of students and staff.
At the same time, the school has appealed to the public, media organizations, and social media users to avoid spreading unverified rumours or distorted narratives, warning that such misinformation can create unnecessary panic among parents and the community.
The administration urged everyone to verify facts before sharing information and support efforts to maintain truth, public trust, and social harmony.
