Tripura, 12 Jan 2026: Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha yesterday visited the Churaibari Checkpost in Dharmanagar. During the visit, he inspected the Motor Vehicle Checkpost Unit and reviewed its functioning. He also visited the Churaibari Police Station, where he interacted with the officers on duty and enquired about various operational matters.
The Chief Minister further visited a stone crusher unit located in Ward No. 4 under Laxminagar Gram Panchayat. He examined whether the stone crusher units were strictly following the guidelines laid down by the Tripura State Pollution Control Board. In this regard, he held discussions with the District Magistrate and other concerned officials.
Later, the Chief Minister inspected the oil depot situated at Kameshwar in Dharmanagar.
During the inspections, the Chief Minister was accompanied by the Chairperson of North Tripura Zilla Parishad, Aparna Nath; MLA Jadav Lal Debnath; District Magistrate of North Tripura, Chandni Chandran; Superintendent of Police, Abhinash Roy, along with other senior officials.
