New Delhi, March 20, 2025: Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has announced that Terminal 1 (T1) will resume full operations from April 15, 2025. As part of this transition, all flights currently operating from Terminal 2 (T2) will be relocated to T1. Currently, Terminal 2 handles approximately 270-280 air traffic movements daily, serving over 46,000 passengers primarily from Akasa Air and IndiGo.

Starting April 15, 2025, these flights will be shifted to T1. DIAL has notified the airlines of this change and urged them to prepare for a smooth transition. This move marks a significant milestone in Delhi Airport’s modernization efforts, ensuring world-class services for passengers. The expansion and modernization of T1 were completed under the Phase 3A expansion project.
The revamped, state-of-the-art integrated Terminal 1 was officially dedicated to the nation in March last year. Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for updated terminal information and plan their travel accordingly.
