Sabroom, Mar 29: with the election schedulef for the TTAADC nearing IPFT candidate Jitiram Tripura has expressed strong confidence in winning the upcoming ADC elections, citing overwhelming public support during his campaign.
As part of his election outreach ahead of the April 12 polls, Tripura conducted a door-to-door campaign at Sat Bhaiya Manikya Para under the 26-Birchandra Kalshi constituency. Interacting directly with residents, he listened to their grievances and assured development initiatives focused on tribal welfare and the demand for Tipraland.
The campaign witnessed active participation from several party workers, including Youth IPFT Central Advisory Chairman Manik Tripura. The programme reportedly received a positive response from the local population.
Speaking to the media, Tripura claimed that the enthusiastic support from voters indicates that his victory is “only a matter of time.”
Notably, Jitiram Tripura currently serves as the Vice Chairman of Jolaibari BAC, contributing to his recognition as a familiar and influential figure among both rural and hill communities.
The electoral outcome in the 26-Bir Chandra Kalshi constituency now remains to be seen.
