Khowai, Mar 22. A one-day delegate conference of the Khowai E-Rickshaw Workers’ Union, affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS), was held on Sunday at Atal Manohar Community Hall in Mahadevtilla, drawing participation of over 600 workers.
The event concluded with the formation of a new 25-member committee, with Samir Das elected as President and Bijit Das as Secretary.
The conference was inaugurated by Khowai Mandal President Anukul Das, while BMS Khowai District Secretary Rajesh Ghosh attended as the chief guest. Several dignitaries, including BJP Khowai District General Secretary Samir Kumar Das, Chairman of Khowai Municipal Council Debashish Nath Sharma, and BMS Tripura State Executive Member Bhramar Das, were also present.
