Agartala, May 3: Kadamtali Yuba Sangstha of Krishnanagar officially unveiled their team jersey on Saturday for the upcoming C-Division Domestic Football League, organized by the Tripura Football Association (TFA). The jersey launch took place during a press conference attended by Club President Sunil Dhar, Secretary Dilip Debbarma, Treasurer Gautam Debnath, and other club members. Addressing the media, the club stated that their main objective this year is to encourage local players and put up a strong performance in the tournament.
The league kicks off tomorrow with a total of 16 teams participating. Notably, the TFA is considering hosting some matches at night for the first time in the league’s history. Kadamtali Yuba Sangstha will play their first match on May 5 against United BST. Under the guidance of coach Pradip Debbarma and player-cum-assistant Vishal Debbarma, the team has already started its training sessions. The squad includes a blend of experienced and new players.
The team retains captain Bikash Debbarma, alongside senior players like Dulal Debbarma, DSP Reang, Triluchan Debbarma, Pol Jamatia, Deepu Chakma, and Vishal Debbarma. New recruits this season include Subash Jamatia, Anand Kishore Jamatia, Abel Public, Sunil Reang, Amar Jamatia, Arma Jamatia, Khoni Jamatia, Ratendra Reang, Bijoy Reang, Shiv Dhanuk, Amusa Molsom, Gulshan Reang, and Aslang Jamatia, all of whom are expected to boost the team’s performance.
