Sabroom: Mar 28. In a bid to ensure free, fair, and peaceful conduct of the upcoming TTAADC elections, the South Tripura District administration organised a road march in the Manpathar outpost area under the 26-Birchandra Kalsi constituency to boost voter confidence and security.
The road march began from Dashami Reang Para and passed through Manpathar Bazaar and other key locations, aiming to create a sense of safety and trust among the public ahead of the polls.
Senior officials present included South District Magistrate Mohammad Sajad P, Superintendent of Police (South) Mowrya Krishna C., Additional SP Suman Majumdar, SDPO Santirbazar Bappi Debbarma, OC Manpathar Police Station Jayanta Das, and OC Santirbazar Police Station Raju Dutta, along with other police and administrative personnel.
Officials stated that the initiative was undertaken to maintain law and order, ensure voter safety, and promote a fear-free voting environment. The march also served as a message that the administration is fully prepared to prevent any untoward incidents during the election period.
