Agartala, March 26: A group of girl students from Dima Hasao district of Assam, currently on an Inter-State Educational Exchange Tour facilitated by the Assam Rifles, paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Tripura, Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, at Lok Bhavan in Agartala.
The visit was organized under the initiative of the 21 Sector of Assam Rifles as part of its ongoing efforts to promote national integration, cultural exchange, and educational exposure among students from remote and border areas. The tour aims to broaden the horizons of young participants by giving them an opportunity to experience the socio-cultural diversity of different states.
During the interaction, the Governor warmly welcomed the students and appreciated the initiative taken by Assam Rifles in facilitating such meaningful exchange programmes. He encouraged the students to make the most of the opportunity by learning about the rich heritage, traditions, and developmental progress of Tripura.
Indra Sena Reddy Nallu also interacted with the students, inquiring about their academic interests, aspirations, and experiences during the tour. He emphasized the importance of education, discipline, and national unity, inspiring the young minds to contribute positively to society.
The students expressed their खुशी and gratitude for the opportunity to visit Tripura and meet the Governor. They shared their experiences of exploring new places, interacting with different communities, and gaining valuable insights beyond classroom learning.
