Agartala: Jan 20. The Government of Tripura will confer the prestigious Tripura Bhushan Samman, 2026 posthumously on Lt. Biswabandhu Sen, former Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, in recognition of his immense contribution to society.
The award ceremony will take place on January 21, 2026, at 12 noon at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Hall No. 1, Agartala, as part of the Tripura Statehood Day celebrations.
An official communication issued by the Department of Information & Cultural Affairs (ICA) on January 19 informed Ratna Sen, wife of the late leader, to be present at the venue by 11.30 am to receive the honour.
