New Delhi, 19 Jan 2026: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today laid the foundation stone for the Extension Project of Tripura Bhavan at Bir Tikendrajit Marg, New Delhi.
Under the project, six rooms and two hall rooms will be constructed at an estimated cost of ₹2.95 crore. The extension aims to strengthen the infrastructure of Tripura Bhavan and enhance facilities for people from Tripura visiting the national capital for medical treatment, education, cultural activities, and business development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister reiterated the state government’s commitment to developing modern and efficient infrastructure in line with the vision of Viksit Tripura.
The programme was attended by Minister Santana Chakma, Minister Tinku Roy, Minister Bikash Debbarma, Minister Kishore Barman, Minister Sudhangshu Das, and MP Rajib Bhattacharjee. Also present were MLA Bhagwan Das, MLA and Tripura Legislative Assembly Vice Speaker Ram Prasad Paul, along with other dignitaries.
