Agartala: Jan 18. The Dhalai district-level Children’s Science Exhibition and Science Seminar 2025–26, themed “STEAM for a Developed and Self-Reliant India,” was successfully held on Sunday at PM SHRI Chandraipara Class XII School, Ambassa. The event showcased innovative scientific thinking by students from across the district, with 37 science models and 14 seminar presentations competing at the district level. The top five winners will advance to the state-level competition.
The programme was inaugurated by Ambassa Municipal Council Chairperson Pratima Malakar, who lit the ceremonial lamp. Among the dignitaries present were School Chairman Suman Debnath, District Education Officer Madhusudan Debbarma, Kulai Class XII School Principal Sushil Das, and other education officials.
The exhibition and seminar were conducted in two groups—Classes VI to VIII and IX to XII. The main exhibition theme was divided into seven sub-themes, including Sustainable Agriculture, Waste Management and Alternative Plastics, Green Energy, and Health and Hygiene. The science seminar focused on “Reducing Plastic Pollution.”
Addressing the gathering, the guests said such platforms are crucial for nurturing innovative ideas among students and encouraging practical, solution-oriented learning. They noted that these initiatives not only enhance academic growth but also inspire fresh thinking for societal challenges.
After the inaugural session, the guests visited each stall, interacted with the participants, and encouraged students for their creativity and scientific approach.
