Agartala: Jan 03. Shreyansh Shastri, a 25-month-old toddler from Dharmanagar in Tripura’s North District, has brought immense pride to the state by securing his name in the India Book of Records and subsequently achieving international recognition in the World Kings Top Records 2025. His achievement at such a tender age is being hailed as a rare and historic milestone for the region.
The prodigious child first entered the India Book of Records at just 18 months of age for accurately naming various human body parts and identifying 20 animals and birds. He was awarded a medal and certificate for this exceptional feat. Building on that success, Shreyansh reached an even bigger milestone at the age of 24 months, when he effortlessly demonstrated knowledge of 36 different content areas, including mythology, names of 36 animals and birds, and all Indian states along with their capitals.
In recognition of this extraordinary talent, Shreyansh was inducted into the World Kings Top Records 2025, an international platform affiliated with the India Book of Records. He received a medal, certificate, citation, and a commemorative pen from the organization.
Shreyansh is the only child of Biswajit Shastri and Swapna Das, residents of Subhash Pally in Chandrapur 5 No. Ward under Dharmanagar subdivision. Speaking to this correspondent, his father said that Shreyansh began identifying and reciting complex information as early as 13 months of age. Based on his abilities, the family applied to the India Book of Records on April 13, 2025, and received official recognition later that month.
The second application, submitted in November when Shreyansh was 24 months old, resulted in his inclusion in the World Kings Top Records on November 19. However, due to Aadhaar-related documentation issues, his name could not be placed in the official world ranking list.
Achieving two major recognitions before turning two years old is unprecedented in Dharmanagar’s rural belt and is being celebrated by locals as a moment of collective pride. Residents, relatives, and well-wishers have lauded the family for nurturing the child’s abilities with care and dedication.
Looking ahead, Shreyansh’s parents stated that their primary goal is to guide his talent in the right direction while ensuring he grows up with strong values and proper education. For now, the tiny achiever’s success has sparked joy across the region.
