Agartala, 2 Jan 2025: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Tuesday morning unveiled the covers of five newly published books at a programme held at Rabindra Centenary Bhavan.
The books released on the occasion include Government Schemes and Projects in India by B. Venkatprasad and Sitangshu Ranjan Dey; Learn Bengali in Telugu by B. Venkatprasad and Prashanta Aditya Modak; Blogging Sip by Bikashrai Debbarma; The Story of Tiger Cub by Bikashrai Debbarma and Suprochita Debbarma; and Song Bark by Bikashrai Debbarma.
Speaking at the book release ceremony, Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu said that the publication of books helps in disseminating ideas among readers and plays a vital role in encouraging new writers. He urged publishers to take greater initiative in bringing out more new titles to nurture literary creativity and inspire aspiring authors.
All five books have been published by PR Publication. During the programme, authors Suprochita Debbarma, B. Venkatprasad, Sitangshu Ranjan Dey, and Bikashrai Debbarma shared their thoughts on the books and the writing process. The welcome address was delivered by Pranab Roy on behalf of PR Publication.
The event highlighted the importance of book publishing in promoting intellectual exchange and strengthening the literary culture of the state.
