Tripura, 2nd Jan 2026: The Chabimura Festival will be organised on January 12, 2026, at the foothills of Chabimura, one of Tripura’s most iconic heritage sites. The decision was taken at a preparatory meeting held recently at the conference hall of the Amarpur Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s Office.
The meeting was chaired by Ranjit Das. Also present were Sub-Divisional Magistrate Anupam Chakraborty, officials from various government departments, and representatives of the Jamatia Hoda.
It was decided that an overnight cultural programme will be organised as part of the festival celebrations on January 12. In addition, various government departments will set up stalls showcasing developmental initiatives and public welfare information.
The Chabimura Festival is expected to draw visitors from across the state, highlighting Tripura’s rich cultural heritage and promoting tourism in the region.
