CATC-73 Commences at Agartala Under 71 Tripura Girls (I) Coy NCC
Agartala, July 21, 2025: Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-73) was inaugurated today at Agartala under the aegis of 71 Tripura Girls (I) Company NCC, Silchar Group Headquarters. The ten-day camp, scheduled from 21st to 30th July 2025, brings together a vibrant contingent of 491 cadets, along with 02 Officers, 02 JCOs, 10 NCOs, 10 ANOs, and 01 GCI, creating a dynamic environment for training and personality development.
The camp was formally inaugurated by Lt Col G R Sharma, Camp Commandant, who welcomed all participants and briefed the cadets on the aim, scope, and significance of NCC training in building discipline, leadership, and national spirit. Emphasizing the role of CATC in a cadet’s overall growth, he urged cadets to make the most of this opportunity and imbibe qualities that will shape them into responsible citizens and future leaders.

In his address, Lt Col Sharma remarked, “This camp is not just about training—it is about transformation. Let us pull our strengths together to build a better future for our nation.” He also congratulated the cadets for volunteering to be part of NCC and encouraged them to remain cheerful and committed throughout the camp duration.
CATC-73 will feature physical training, drill practice, lectures on national integration, personality development sessions, weapon training, and various cultural, live .22 Rifles firing at short under the abled and experienced instructors, sports activities and social and community development programme like ek paer maa ke naam, Vibrant village to create social awareness in two border villages of Purva and pachhim Semna and blood donation for the noble cause
The camp promises to be a memorable experience filled with learning, camaraderie, and a shared sense of purpose, concluding on 30th July 2025.
