Tripura, 2 May 2025: The NEET (UG) examination will be held on May 4 (Sunday). Ahead of the exam, a high-level meeting was held today at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha. The meeting took place in the video conference hall and was attended by Chief Secretary J.K. Sinha, DGP (Intelligence) Anurag, Special Secretary of the Education Department Ravel Hemendra Kumar, and Home Department Secretary Apurba Roy.

The meeting focused on ensuring smooth and secure conduct of the examination, with detailed discussions on security arrangements and other necessary measures. District Magistrates and Superintendents of Police in West Tripura and Dhalai districts have already reviewed the safety measures at the NEET exam centres under their jurisdiction and assured that adequate security will be in place.
This year, a total of 4,892 students from Tripura will appear for the NEET (UG) exam. The test will be held in 11 centres 10 in West Tripura district and one in Dhalai district. In West Tripura, the exam centres include Maharaja Bir Bikram College, Bir Bikram Memorial College, Banibidyapith Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Kendriya Vidyalaya Kunjaban No. 1, Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE), Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC, Hindi Higher Secondary School, and Shishu Bihar Higher Secondary School. In Dhalai district, the examination will be conducted at Kamalpur Government English Medium Higher Secondary School.
