Tripura 15 March, 2025: Bador Jamatia was arrested today by Tripura Police following widespread outrage over a viral video showing him killing a dog.
The incident gained significant attention on social media, leading to multiple FIRs being filed across various police stations. Several NGOs, ministers, and influencers also raised their voices against the act, demanding strict action.
The video was originally uploaded on March 11 through an account named Buchuk Jamatia. After the video went viral, Bador Jamatia appeared on social media in tears, claiming that the dog was rabid and had been attacking Children’s, livestock, including goats, in the village.
However, his emotional plea did not change the course of action. On March 15, police arrested him in connection with the case.
