Agartala, 20 February, 2025:Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited has taken over the land and fixed assets of 1(one) no Industrial Unit namely Proxima Rubbers Pvt. Ltd. at Bodhjungnagar Industrial Complex on 20 February, 2025.
The unit was non functioning, and the assets were in dilapidated condition, abandoned by the owner for a long time. Consequently, very valuable land at Bodhjungnagar was lying un- utilized and the corporation was unable to allot land to new units. Besides, a large amount about Rs.21,61,984/- was due from the unit as rent and the Owner was not responding to demand notices from the Corporation for payment. The Management of the Corporation accordingly decided to take over the land along with whatever constructed structure is available under Tripura Public Premises Act.
The unit namely Proxima Rubbers Pvt. Ltd. has been taken over to recover about 3.00 acres of land. The land will now be allotted to new units after following due process to promote investment and create employment. The OSD of Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited has informed this through a Press Release today.
