Tripura 17 Feb, 2025: To ensure a smooth and peaceful environment for the CBSE Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations, restrictions under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023 have been imposed in and around three examination centers in Dharmanagar Subdivision.
As per an order issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Dharmanagar, these restrictions will be in effect at Padmapur Higher Secondary School, Bir Bikram Institution, and Nayapara English Medium Higher Secondary School and their surrounding areas. The order has been enforced from February 15 and will remain in place until April 4, 2025, but only on exam days.
What’s Restricted?
* No gathering of four or more people near the exam centers.
* No processions, rallies, or vehicle rallies without prior approval.
* Carrying weapons, sticks, or any similar objects is strictly prohibited.
* Use of loudspeakers is not allowed.
The SDM has stated that violating these restrictions will lead to legal action under Section 223 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
