New Delhi, Feb 15: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence on Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi today. During the meeting, CM Saha invited the Prime Minister to inaugurate the redeveloped Mata Tripureswari Temple premises at Matabari, one of the most significant religious sites in the state.


The Chief Minister also conveyed his warm regards to PM Modi for the successful completion of his recent visits to France and the United States. Additionally, he congratulated the Prime Minister on the massive victory in the recent Delhi Assembly elections.
During their discussion, CM Dr. Manik Saha apprised the Prime Minister of key developmental needs in Tripura, including the proposal for a National Highway connecting Kamalpur to Santirbazar via Ambassa, Ganda Twisa, and Amarpur. He also emphasized the necessity of establishing premier institutions like AIIMS, IIT, and IIM in the state to boost higher education and healthcare infrastructure.
