The Public Undertaking Committee (PUC) of the Tripura Legislative Assembly conducted an inspection of several industrial areas today under TIDC (Tripura Industrial Development Corporation Limited). The delegation visited Bodhjungnagar, R.K. Nagar, Dukli, and A.D. Nagar industrial areas. Leading the inspection was the Chairman of the Public Undertaking Committee, MLA Kishore Barman, accompanied by committee members MLA Pathan Lal Jamatia, MLA Philip Kumar Reang, and MLA Dipankar Sen. TIDC Chairman Nabadal Banik and senior officials from the Department of Industries and Commerce joined the inspection.
Inspection of Key Industrial Units
The delegation first visited Bodhjungnagar Industrial Area, inspecting prominent units including Pran Beverages (India) Pvt. Ltd., Palla Pilil Tech Rubber, Dev Industries, ABM Rubber Industries Pvt. Ltd., Dharampal Satyapal Ltd., and the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET).
Next, they moved to R.K. Nagar Industrial Area, where they observed the operations of Northeast Veneer Pvt. Ltd. (a plywood manufacturing unit), Mutha Industries Pvt. Ltd. (a bamboo-based production unit), CIPET, G-Cube Sticks, and G-Cube Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
Further Inspection at Dukli and A.D. Nagar Industrial Areas
In Dukli Industrial Area, the delegation inspected Calcutta Plastopack Industries, Jagannath Industries, Kanai Muri Center, and M/S A.K. Bricks. Following this, they proceeded to A.D. Nagar Industrial Area, where they visited units such as Tirthamoyee Aluminum, Naramac, Cloud Nine, and Jagannath.
Tripura Industrial Development Corporation informed that the purpose of this inspection was to review the activities and progress of industrial units, identify challenges to their development, and plan necessary steps to foster further industrial growth in the region.
