Malda (WB), 19th October 2024: In a heartbreaking incident, a 23-year-old college student, Ranjan Biswas, lost his life after being hit by a train while sitting on the railway tracks and listening to music with earphones. The accident took place early Saturday morning in the Akanda area of Gazole, Malda.
According to reports, Ranjan was engrossed in music when an approaching train struck him, leading to his untimely death.
The tragic accident has cast a pall of grief over the local community, as the young man’s life was cut short in such a devastating manner.
