Agartala: Jan 20. The final electoral roll for the 56-Dharmanagar Assembly constituency by-election will be published on February 28, following a special summary revision ordered by the Election Commission of India, officials informed.
According to the schedule, the draft voter list will be released on January 22, and claims or objections can be filed until February 12. All objections will be disposed of by February 21, paving the way for publication of the final list.
The draft electoral roll will be available for public inspection at all polling stations under the Dharmanagar Assembly constituency, offices of the Electoral Registration Officer (SDM), Tehsil offices, the District Election Officer’s office, and on the website of the Chief Electoral Officer Tripura.
Election officials said the revision will be carried out with January 1, 2026, as the qualifying date, to ensure that all eligible voters are enrolled accurately.
As part of the process, the Chief Electoral Officer held a meeting with representatives of all recognised political parties to brief them on the revision schedule and seek cooperation.
The Election Department has urged citizens to actively participate in the revision process to help maintain a clean and error-free voter list for the Dharmanagar by-election.
