Despite Inclement Weather, CM Dr. Manik Saha Attends 47th “Mukhyamantri Samipeshu” Public Outreach Programme
Tripura, 9 July, 2025: Braving adverse weather conditions, Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha participated in the 47th edition of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme today. Citizens from various parts of the state met the Chief Minister to seek redressal for their grievances. The Chief Minister attentively listened to each case and immediately instructed concerned officials to take necessary steps for resolving the issues.
Among those who approached the CM today were Ajit Deb from West Bhuvanban regarding his wife’s heart disease, Protima Adhikari from Sepahijala seeking help for gallstone treatment, Shiuli Bhattacharya from Ujan Abhoynagar whose husband suffers from heart blockage, and Khokan Biswas from Dukli who sought aid for injury-related trauma.

Others included Tamal Saha from Jogendranagar whose wife has kidney ailments, Sudhir Debnath from Unakoti with his wife’s eye treatment issues, and Narayan Chandra Ghosh from Bhati Abhoynagar for his wife’s cardiac and kidney complications. Health Secretary Kiran Gitte, Director of Health Services Dr. Tapan Kumar Majumder, and other departmental officials were present and directed by the CM to take prompt action.
Rajib Debbarma from Kadamtala, Agartala also met the Chief Minister seeking support to train his son as a professional athlete. The CM immediately instructed Youth Affairs & Sports Secretary Dr. P. K. Chakraborty to explore possible assistance. Following the Chief Minister’s directives, several issues were addressed on the spot by the officials, while others were assured due review and resolution in due course.
Also present were Social Welfare & Social Education Secretary Tapas Roy, IGM Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Debadri Debbarma, and Cancer Hospital Superintendent Dr. Shiromoni Debbarma.
