AGARTALA: To ensure the seamless execution of the upcoming ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ programme, a high-level preparatory meeting was convened at the conference hall of the West Tripura District Magistrate’s office.
Presiding over the session, Tripura Food, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury highlighted the campaign’s core objective of extending public service and welfare scheme benefits to citizens across all social strata.
“The primary objective of the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ is to ensure that government initiatives reach every individual. With coordinated inter-departmental efforts and active public participation, this programme will emerge as a truly effective, people-centric initiative,” Minister Chowdhury said.
The strategic meeting brought together officials and representatives from various state departments, including the district administration, Tripura Police, Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC), health, education, agriculture, youth and sports, urban development, panchayats, PWD, PHE, forest, and social welfare.
Deliberations centered on establishing robust inter-departmental coordination, precise distribution of responsibilities, field-level execution, and mobilizing active community participation to guarantee organized implementation across the region.
