Agartala: Oct 03: In a continuous push to strengthen grassroots healthcare, an Ayushman Arogya Camp was organised at Natunabadi West Dwarikapur to bring essential medical services directly to rural households.
A total of 49 residents availed themselves of free general health check-ups, diagnostic screenings, and expert medical consultations during the event. The drive spared local villagers the time, cost, and effort of travelling long distances to urban facilities for routine primary care.
A specialized medical team—comprising Medical Officer Dr. Supriya Barman, Pharmacist Dr. Sunil Sarkar, MPS Bipul Debbarma, Laboratory Technician Ashri Debbarma, Community Health Officer Hamesha Debbarma, and MPW Amit Majumdar—spearheaded the camp, supported by local health staff.
Beyond immediate consultations, officials emphasized that these routine camps in underserved pockets focus on early screening, timely detection of chronic ailments, and promoting health awareness at the community level.
