Agartala, September 23: The BJP, Tipra Motha and IPFT on Wednesday jointly organised a campaign meeting at the Chandranath Thakurpara Anganwadi Centre under Radhacharan Village Committee in the Kalyanpur–Pramodnagar constituency, ahead of the September 28 Village Committee elections in Tripura.
The meeting was held in support of the alliance’s nominated candidate and was attended by local residents, party workers and leaders of the three alliance partners. Kalyanpur MLA Pinaki Das Choudhury and Mandal president Nitai Bal were among those present.
During the programme, speakers highlighted various development-related concerns in the constituency, with particular emphasis on local infrastructure and welfare needs.
They stressed the importance of coordination between residents and elected representatives to ensure that development programmes are implemented effectively and that grassroots-level issues receive timely attention.
The leaders also highlighted the themes of peace, harmony and development while appealing to voters to support the alliance’s joint candidate in the upcoming Village Committee polls.
The meeting was part of the constituency-level campaign being conducted by the three alliance partners across the state ahead of polling on September 28. Local leaders and party workers have been engaged in outreach programmes to connect with voters and highlight issues concerning their respective areas.
Campaigning by political parties and candidates is continuing across Tripura as preparations intensify for the Village Committee elections.
