Tripura, 21 August 2026: The 10th session of the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly is scheduled to begin on August 27.
Ahead of the session, the Tripura Legislative Assembly Secretariat has imposed several security restrictions on entry into the Assembly premises.
According to a notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, no person or vehicle will be allowed to enter the Assembly complex without a valid entry pass issued by the Secretariat.
Members of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, media personnel and Assembly employees will be required to produce their identity cards or valid passes issued by the Assembly Secretariat when asked by security personnel at the entry gates.
MLAs, accredited media personnel and Assembly employees will also be permitted to enter the Assembly premises in vehicles or other modes of transport, provided they possess valid entry passes.
However, visitors, government officials, media personnel and Assembly employees will not be allowed to enter the Assembly premises carrying bags or any other objectionable items.
The restrictions have been introduced as part of enhanced security arrangements during the upcoming Assembly session.
