Agartala,September 26, 2025: In a pioneering initiative, a group of students and alumni from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala have launched India’s first-ever web series on the National Cadet Corps (NCC), titled “CADET: The Journey Unfolds.”
The series presents an authentic and inspirational portrayal of the challenges, discipline, and aspirations that shape the lives of NCC cadets, told from the perspective of today’s youth. Blending cinematic storytelling with real experiences, CADET captures the struggles and transformation of young cadets, while reflecting their patriotic spirit.
Entirely shot in Tripura and independently produced by the young filmmaking team, the series showcases the state’s emerging role in India’s creative landscape. The first episode, already available on YouTube, has garnered thousands of views and widespread appreciation from cadets and young audiences across the country.
