Tripura, 22 August 2025: Police have arrested two young men on charges of raping a 16-year-old girl in a shocking incident that occurred near the Udaipur railway station, within the jurisdiction of the RadhaKishorepur Women’s Police Station.
The accused have been identified as Mithun Deb Nath and Boyar Debbarma.
According to the police complaint, the incident took place on Thursday. The two accused allegedly took the minor girl in a Maruti car to the Udaipur railway station area. It is claimed that the rape was committed inside the vehicle itself at the station.
The breakthrough in the case came later that day when the vehicle was stopped at a nakabandi (check point) operated by Kakraban Police Station on the road to Mohanbhog. Officers became suspicious upon finding the two men with the young girl in the car.

On the 21st, her brother-in-law (sala) took her out for a ride in a Maruti car towards Udaipur Madhab. The driver of the car and the brother-in-law were present. The assault allegedly took place inside the vehicle while it was parked.”
