Tripura, 20 August 2025: In the 52nd edition of the Mukhyamantri Samipeshu programme today, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha directly interacted with people from different parts of the state, listening to their grievances related to healthcare, land disputes, and other issues. The Chief Minister assured them of prompt redressal and instructed officials for necessary action.
Shikha Debnath from Pratapgarh approached the Chief Minister regarding her daughter Tamanna Debnath, who has been unable to walk since birth due to deformities in both legs. CM Saha instructed health officials to initiate necessary medical treatment for her.
Subal Das from Chakmaghat, Teliamura, sought help for his 5-year-old son, who is suffering from blood cancer. The Chief Minister directed the Medical Superintendent of the Cancer Hospital to take immediate steps for the child’s treatment.
Several others, including Bachan Debbarma from Kumarghat, Krishna Debnath from Kailashahar, Nirod Bihari Das from Badharghat, and Liton Saha from Gondatwi, placed their medical concerns related to kidney and pancreas ailments before the Chief Minister. He instructed the concerned officials to take the required measures for their treatment.
From Dharmanagar, Sanjit Nath appealed for medical assistance for his wife, who was severely injured due to an electric shock a few days ago. A domestic worker from Ramnagar, Mansa Harijan, who lost her husband months ago and has been struggling to run her family, also sought help from the Chief Minister.
Jyotirmoy Pal from Office Lane, Agartala, raised a land-related issue, for which the CM directed officials to take necessary steps.
Senior officials including Health & Family Welfare Secretary Kiran Gitte, Social Welfare & Social Education Secretary Tapas Roy, Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, Director of Health Dr. Tapan Majumder, Medical Superintendent of GB Hospital Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, Medical Superintendent of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Regional Cancer Centre Dr. Shrimoni Debbarma, and IGM Hospital Superintendent Dr. Debashree Debbarma were present during the programme.
