Agartala, August 9, 2025: Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir on Saturday organised a formal felicitation ceremony in the school auditorium to honour its top-performing students for their merit-based achievements.
The event was graced by Justice Arindam Lodh, Chairperson of the Tripura Human Rights Commission, as the Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. Nachiketa Mittal, Registrar of the National Law University Tripura, attended as the Guest of Honour. Among the special invitees were Shri Tapan Lodh, Vice-Chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Agartala Centre, and Shri Rajat Dey, Principal of Bhavan’s Teachers Training College, whose presence further enhanced the significance of the occasion. The programme was presided over by Shri Debashis Chakraborty, Retired IFS Officer and Chairman of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Agartala Centre.

In her welcome address, School Principal Smt. Swapna Som motivated the meritorious students and encouraged them to aim higher in life.
In his speech, Chief Guest Justice Arindam Lodh extended heartfelt congratulations to the award recipients, lauding their academic excellence as well as the school’s overall infrastructure and holistic approach to development.
The highlights of the day included the presentation of Merit Awards for students of Classes III, IV, and V; the Harlal Merit Awards for students of Classes VI, VII, and VIII; and the Shikshan Bharati Merit Certificates to students who scored 90% and above in the board examinations. Additionally, certificates and prizes were given to top performers for their outstanding results and to students with 100% attendance.
