Tripura | August 7, 2025: Tripura Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu visited the Brahmakunda Tea Estate in Simna this morning. During his visit, the Governor interacted with tea garden workers and reviewed the functioning of the Brahmakunda Tea Processing Centre.
Speaking to the media later, the Governor said that the state government is taking significant steps to modernize the tea processing industry, and the Brahmakunda centre is operating well.
Upon his arrival at the Brahmakunda Tea Tourism Centre, the Governor was warmly received by Samir Ranjan Ghosh, Chairman of the Tripura Tea Development Corporation Limited (TTDCL), Maniklal Das, Managing Director of TTDCL, and Subhash Dutta, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Mohanpur, among others.
The Chairman and Managing Director of TTDCL briefed the Governor in detail about the tea estate and its processing operations.
