Tripura, 16 July, 2025: In a major drug bust, Yaba tablets worth approximately ₹10 crore were seized this morning during a routine vehicle checking operation in the 41 Mile area under Mungiakami Police Station. The incident occurred on the National Highway when a TR 01 M 3624 numbered auto-rickshaw traveling from Ambassa to Teliamura was stopped at the naka point for inspection.
Sub-Inspector Thamsaiya Reang, who was on duty at the checkpoint, detected the smell of drugs from the vehicle.
