Tripura,01July, 2025: Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday said that the state government is taking various initiatives to deliver improved health services, and doctors are working sincerely in delivering these services.
Dr. Saha, who also holds Health portfolio, said this while inaugurating the Health Council building– Dr. P. B. Memorial Bhavan at Bidurkarta Chowmuhani today.
In this building, seven council offices have been brought under one roof.
“Earlier, these council offices were located in different offices of the Health Department, due to which applicants for various registrations had to face several problems. It has been decided to bring the council offices under one roof with the aim of providing health-related services to health staff in a smooth manner,” he said.
The council offices have been brought under one roof so that doctors can continue their work smoothly, added Dr. Saha.
Additional Secretary of the Health Department Rajib Dutta, President of the State Branch of the Indian Dental Council Dr. Bholanath Saha, Vice President Dr. Partha Roy Chowdhury, and other officials of the Health Department were also present at the inaugural ceremony.
