Tripura, 16 May 2025: The week-long Boishakhi Mela in Amarpur concluded yesterday. Held from May 9 to May 15 at the Chandibari Ground in Amarpur, the closing ceremony was graced by the presence of former Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik, MLA Ranjit Das, Amarpur Nagar Panchayat Chairperson Bikash Saha, Amarpur Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Suchitra Das, Amarpur BAC Chairman Rabitra Jamatia, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate Anupam Chakraborty, among others.


Speaking at the concluding ceremony, former Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik said that a fair is a platform for unitya place where communities come together. She remarked that the week-long Boishakhi Mela showcased the spirit of harmony among all, regardless of caste, religion, or ethnicity.
MLA Ranjit Das thanked the people of all communities in the subdivision for their support in successfully organizing the week-long fair. He expressed hope that everyone would continue to contribute and cooperate for the overall development of the state in the days ahead.
