Agartala 23 March, 2025: The state government is working diligently by following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, which emphasizes that the development of every state will collectively lead to the country’s progress. Prime Minister Modi is making sincere efforts to ensure that every state reaches new heights of prosperity, said Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha at an event held yesterday at Albert Ekka Park in Lichubagan on the occasion of Bihar Day.
During the event, the Chief Minister remarked that states across India are now celebrating not only their own foundation days but also those of other states with due respect. This initiative aims to strengthen the sense of unity among the diverse communities in the country. He highlighted that this is the first time Bihar Day is being observed in Tripura, which will help foster deeper mutual relations between Tripura and Bihar.

He further stated that the state government is implementing various plans for Tripura’s development. There was a time when the northeastern states were left out of the development process, but under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the northeastern region has been progressing rapidly.
The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the people of Bihar on the occasion of Bihar Day and wished for the successful observance of the event. The program began with a welcome address by noted social worker Bipin Debbarma.
Other prominent dignitaries present at the event included Minister for Social Welfare and Social Education Tinku Roy, former Bihar MP Rakesh Sinha, former Tripura MLA Dr. Dilip Kumar Das, social worker Papia Dutta, and community leader Achal Singh.
