Delhi Air, March 7 (SHABD): External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met with Irish President Michael D. Higgins yesterday and conveyed President Droupadi Murmu’s regards to him.
In a social media post, Dr. Jaishankar shared insights from their meeting, highlighting discussions on the role of culture in strengthening diplomatic relations between India and Ireland. The meeting underscored the significance of cultural exchanges in fostering deeper bilateral ties.
During his visit, Dr. Jaishankar also met with several top leaders of Ireland and acknowledged their warm sentiments and steadfast support for enhancing India-Ireland relations.
As part of his engagements, the External Affairs Minister visited the General Post Office Museum and the Old Library at Trinity College in Dublin, further emphasizing the cultural and historical connections between the two nations.
