Agartala, February 25, 2025: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) commenced this year’s Secondary Examination today. The Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim students appeared for their English exam on the first day. All 68 examination centers across the state reported a peaceful examination process.
A total of 29,075 candidates were registered for the Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim English exam, including 13,549 male and 15,526 female students. Out of them, 28,919 candidates appeared, comprising 13,476 males and 15,443 females. The number of absentees was 73 male and 83 female students, resulting in an overall attendance rate of 99.46%.
The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) informed that Board President Dr. Dhananjoy Ganchoudhury and OSD Jyotirmoy Roy visited multiple examination centers, including Akhaliachhara Secondary School, Tarapur Higher Secondary School, Kamalghat Higher Secondary School, and Patunagar Higher Secondary School.
The next examination, scheduled for February 27, will be for Higher Secondary, Madrasa Fazil Arts, and Madrasa Fazil Theology students, covering subjects such as Bengali, Hindi, Kokborok, and Mizo.
