Agartala, February 25, 2025: Doctors and healthcare workers are providing medical services at the doorsteps of elderly citizens who are physically unable to move. Under South Tripura district, Dr. Rahul Das, in charge of Rupaichhari Primary Health Centre, has been regularly visiting the home of Ratan Tripura (73), a bedridden patient from Sudham Para in Garifa, located about 3.5 km from the health center.
The elderly patient has been suffering from hypertension-related stroke and has been in poor health for a long time. On February 20, 2025, Dr. Rahul Das, accompanied by Shimul Shil, the Community Health Officer of Garifa Ayushman Arogya Mandir, visited the patient’s house for a follow-up checkup.
During the visit, they conducted a health examination and provided free medicines. This initiative was shared through a press release issued by the Family Welfare and Disease Prevention Department.
