Agartala 14 Jan, 2025: An autorickshaw lost control and collided with a roadside dustbin, critically injuring the driver and a passenger. According to hospital staff, the incident occurred on Tuesday around 3:30 PM near Khowai Police Lines.
The injured have been identified as Sudharanjan Roy (31) from Khowai and Rakhal Giri (29) from Teliamura. The passenger autorickshaw was traveling towards Teliamura from Khowai when the accident took place.
After the collision, the injured were rushed to Khowai District Hospital by the fire brigade. Due to the severity of their injuries, they were referred to GBP Hospital in Agartala for further treatment.
