Khowai 9 Jan, 2025: In a press conference held at the BJP Khowai district office, BJP Janajati Morcha leaders dismissed the Raj Bhavan march organized by the Ganamukti Parishad as baseless and meaningless. The event was addressed by Jaydeb Debbarma, a state committee member of the BJP Janajati Morcha, and Binay Debbarma, a central committee member of the Morcha.
Jaydeb Debbarma criticized the CPI(M) for failing to address the concerns of the tribal community during their 35-year rule in Tripura. He stated that CPI(M)’s frequent criticisms of the BJP government regarding tribal welfare lack substance.
The leaders highlighted the significant initiatives undertaken by the BJP-led government for the development of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) regions and the welfare of the tribal population. They emphasized that several welfare schemes have been implemented under the BJP government, which were not introduced during the previous regime.
