Sabroom 3 Jan, 2025: On New years Day, a concerning incident took place in Jolepha Ramji Para, under Sabroom Police Station, where a 65-year-old individual, Mohini Nath, was accused of attacking a neighbor, Sunil Nath, for reasons yet to be determined.
As per reports from locals, Sunil Nath sustained injuries and was initially treated at Sabroom Sub-Divisional Hospital. Due to the seriousness of his condition, he was later referred to GB Hospital in Agartala for advanced medical care.
Local residents intervened promptly, ensuring Mohini Nath was handed over to the police for further investigation. Authorities are currently looking into the matter to ascertain the cause of the incident.
