A seven-day Tripureshwari Kumbh Mela is scheduled to take place in Ranirbazar from December 25, 2023, to January 1, 2024. To ensure the smooth conduct of the event, a preparatory meeting was held today in the conference hall of the Jirania Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s Office under the chairmanship of Food Minister Sushanta Chowdhury.
The meeting was attended by several dignitaries, including West Tripura Zilla Parishad Assistant Sabhadhipati Biswajit Shil, MLA Swapna Debbarma, Jirania Panchayat Samiti Chairman Pritam Debnath, Jirania Nagar Panchayat Chairperson Ratan Kumar Das, Ranirbazar Municipal Council Vice Chairperson Prabir Kumar Das, West Tripura Additional District Magistrate Megha Jain, Jirania SDM Shantiranjan Chakma, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Kamal Krishna Koloi, and officials from various departments.
During the meeting, Minister Chowdhury urged everyone’s cooperation to ensure the peaceful and successful completion of the Tripureshwari Kumbh Mela.
