State-level drama festival 2024 will start from December 11 at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan. The 15-day drama festival will be inaugurated at 2nd hall of Rabindra Bhavan on 11th December at 4:30 pm. Organized by the Department of Information and Cultural Affairs, 34 theater groups from different districts of the state will participate in this drama festival. On December 11, the drama festival will begin at 5:30 pm with the play ‘Kurukshetrar Hoke Samapan’ another play ‘Jashomati’ will be staged at 7 pm on the same day.
Two plays will be staged daily with the commencement at 6 pm and the next play is at 7:30 pm. Moreover, 3 dramas will be staged every day on the holidays. On the holidays, the shows will start from 5 pm. This state-level drama festival is one of the series of initiatives of the state government to promote theater art in the state.
