Agartala 2nd December, 2024: Education plays a pivotal role in driving the nation forward, stated Governor Indranesh Reddy Nannu during the inauguration of the All India Principals’ Conference of Bhavan’s Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools. The event was held at the KM Multipurpose Hall of Bhavan’s Tripura Vidyamandir.
Addressing the gathering, the Governor highlighted that no nation can progress without education. He called on teachers to take a proactive role in providing quality education that shapes students into knowledgeable and responsible citizens. Stressing the importance of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, he said it is a significant step toward enriching the nation in various fields and urged educators to implement the policy effectively.
The Governor also encouraged school principals to take initiatives to ensure that Bhavan’s students excel in the field of education, surpassing others in every sphere.
The event also featured speeches from Yogesh Pratap Singh, Vice-Chancellor of National Law University Tripura; Debashis Chakraborty, Chairman of Bhavan’s Agartala Centre; Rakesh Saxena, Director of Shiksha Bharati Mumbai Headquarters; and Jagdish Lakhani, Joint Executive Secretary of Shiksha Bharati Mumbai Headquarters.
