Khowai 27 November, 2024: A devastating bike accident in the Laltila area of Khowai has left a 40-year-old man from Kailashahar critically injured. The incident occurred on Wednesday around 3:30 PM. Fire department personnel rescued the unconscious and bloodied victim and rushed him to Khowai District Hospital.
Doctors at the hospital have described his condition as critical, but due to the unavailability of his family members, they have been unable to refer him to GB Hospital for advanced treatment.
The injured man has been identified as Kishore Debbarma, a resident of Pancham Para in Kailashahar. He is a jawan of the TSR 6th Battalion and is currently posted in Khowai. Police sources confirmed the information.
Kishore sustained severe injuries to his body and head during the accident. Authorities are trying to contact his family for further assistance. Investigation into the accident is underway.
