Agartala 07 November, 2024: In a remarkable achievement for Tripura’s healthcare system, a newborn born with an exceptionally low birth weight of just 670 grams has made a remarkable recovery to advanced medical care at AGMC & GBP Hospital. The child, born on August 7, 2024, at Dhalai District Hospital, faced critical challenges but was successfully stabilized and has since shown significant improvement, with their weight increasing to 1.49 kilograms.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha extended his heartfelt congratulations to the dedicated medical team and hospital authorities for their efforts, noting that this accomplishment sets a new benchmark in neonatal care for Tripura. “This achievement stands as an inspiring example of what is possible in child healthcare in our state,” he remarked, expressing gratitude for the team’s dedication and skill.
